Throwing Experience with Iain Davidson

If you’ve always wanted to have a go a wheel throwing, but don’t know where to start then why not try our 2 hour throwing experience.
You will have the opportunity to try to make a small pot on the pottery wheels
The price includes decoration and firing of your completed piece. Extra pots over and above your favourite pot are subject to a £20 firing charge.
Instructions
This is a two hour session which will be led by one of our session leaders. During this session you will have the chance to try to make a small pot on the wheel.
The session will be supervised by a class leader from the studio who will be on hand to help you become familiar with the studio, its equipment and materials.
Our Health and Safety policy is there to keep you safe. Please ensure you read it and get in contact if you have any questions.
You should bring your own apron if you have one, if you don’t we can supply one. Please also wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Participants will work with the raw materials supplied by CCS rather than bringing their own. This is to ensure that when firing, all clays are compatible. There are few things more disappointing than opening the kiln only to find that one person’s work has exploded, destroying everyone else’s at the same time.
