Studio Membership

Cheshire Clay Studios membership scheme caters for those who have attended courses with us and those who are more experienced ceramicists.

Members have a range of benefits:

• Access to the studio nearly whenever you like provided the studio is staffed. In practice members can usually expect up to 30 hours a week of studio availability.
• Fully equipped pottery studio and outside firing area, including six wheels, slab roller, dipping glazes, pugmill, raku kiln, five electric kilns.
• 18 hours a week of supported sessions – experienced ceramicists available to help and guide when required
• Up to 6 kilo per month free firing
• Free use of all studio glazes
• Cost price of six different types of clay including Porcelain, white stoneware, crank, buff,  Studio clay, paperclay – or buy your own to use. (We are a stoneware studio)
• Monthly saturday  specialist workshops either free of charge, or minimum cost
• Two open studios per year where members can exhibit and sell their creations
• Monthly stall at the local Artisan’s market where members can sell their wares
