5 Week pottery throwing course

Five week throwing courses on Monday evenings and Friday mornings.

Perfect for beginners and upwards.

Sessions are two hours duration and limited to four people for maximum attention.

Aimed at both beginners and those who wish to improve their throwing skills. At the end of each course of five sessions throwers should be competent throwing a variety of functional shapes.

£225.00 per person

  Enjoyed a clay throwing experience today. Got struck straight in and had a great time with a ball of clay and loads of water! Plenty of guidance and encouragement from Sophie who made sure we all managed to produce our own ‘unique’ pots. No experience necessary just a willingness to get stuck in and give it a go.   It’s only week 2 of my 6 week clay course,  but I’ve already learnt so much! and I am loving using this knowledge to create freely in a lovely workspace with wonderful people and expert tuition.
I am excited to glaze, coil and throw in the upcoming weeks and I would highly recommend the course to anyone wanting to learn.

Started a 6 week workshop in this magical clay filled wonderland with Lise Moorcroft, she has the patience of a saint and the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store!...and with her help I turned a blob of clay into a masterpiece!
